• possibility of extremely easy selectivity in the most varied current settings;
• high limiting effect of short circuit current;
• great operating reliability even after years of operation;
• constant intervention characteristics within high temperature variations.

Fuses are still the most common and reliable means, technically and economically, in the field of protection.
