SPINA JOINS OPEN-ES, ENI’S DIGITAL PLATFORM THAT MEASURES SUSTAINABILITY

Spina joins Open-es, the new digital platform born from the partnership between Eni, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Google Cloud. The project deals with sustainability in industrial supply chains and open to all companies involved in the energy transition process. Spina fully embraces the project: taking a leading role in the growth of the industrial ecosystem on the dimensions of sustainability, in Italy and in the world.

Open-es proposes itself as a collaborative community, in which companies have the possibility to:

• measure their own sustainability performance and compare themselves with the sector benchmarks through a guided process
• acquire awareness of their strengths and areas for improvement on the dimensions relating to the 4 fundamental pillars: Planet, People, Economic Prosperity and Corporate Governance Principles, in order to build a development path, suggestions and solutions that will help them to fill the gap and enhance the strengths
• involve their suppliers, inviting them to join Open-es, thus improving sustainable procurement processes along the supply chain
• access a collaboration area where you can share experiences and activities related to environmental, social and economic sustainability and ask and offer support

It is therefore a support tool for the company, committed to the improvement of its best practices in terms of environmental sustainability, not only internally, through the analysis of the use of resources and waste, but also throughout the supply chain towards its suppliers and customers.
