Tinrhert Fields Development

The Tinrhert Fields Development is a project developed by Sonatrach in eastern Algeria. The project involves connecting peripheral gas fields to existing processing facilities through new separation, compression, decarbonization and pipeline infrastructure. Its objective is to increase the production of natural gas, LPG and condensates, while enhancing the value of the Tinrhert field resources for the Algerian domestic market and export.

Debottleneck SF5

Debottleneck SF5 is an engineering project by LyondellBasel to debottleneck the SF5 plant in Ferrara, Italy. The SF5 plant manufactures support materials for Ziegler–Natta catalysts, which are used in the production of polypropylene and other polyolefins. The objective of the project is to increase the plant’s production capacity from its existing level to approximately 1,750 tonnes per year, while keeping the facility ready for future expansion to 2,200 tonnes per year.

Project CERES

The Ceres Urea Plant, located on the coast of Western Australia, is a large onshore facility for the production of ammonia and urea from natural gas. Once completed, it will be the world’s largest gas-based ammonia and urea production plant. It uses local natural gas to produce fertilizers, integrating ammonia production, urea production, granulation, auxiliary services, port infrastructure and water supply facilities. The plant will include production areas, storage facilities and administrative functions. A 3.2 km conveyor belt will connect the plant to the port for the transport and loading of urea intended for export. The facility is designed to contribute to the target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
