Petrochemical

Ras Laffan Petrochemicals Project (RLPP)

The Ras Laffan Petrochemicals Project — RLPP is an integrated petrochemical complex located in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. The project includes the development of an ethane cracker with an annual ethylene capacity of approximately 2.08 million tonnes, together with two downstream HDPE units. The project is designed to expand Qatar’s petrochemical production capacity by increasing the output of ethylene and polymer products, mainly targeting international export markets.

Bouri Field

The Bouri Field is located offshore in Block NC-41, about 120km northwest of Tripoli in the waters of Libya. Water depth in the region ranges between 145m and 183m. Is estimated to contain 4.5 billion barrels (720,000,000 m3) in proven recoverable crude oil reserves and 3.5 trillion cubic feet (99 km3) of associated natural gas with an annual production potential of 6 billion m³. Bouri field development includes two offshore platforms- DP3 and DP4, seven subsea wells and an Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO). Bouri is considered the largest producing oilfield in the Mediterranean.

Modernización Refinería Talara

The “Modernización Refinería Talara” project involves the refurbishment and modernization of the Talara refinery located in Peru. The project seeks to achieve two key objectives: reducing sulfur content in diesel, gasoline, and LPG fuels to a maximum of 50 ppm and increasing the refinery’s crude processing capacity from 65,000 to 95,000 barrels per day (BPD), allowing for the processing of heavy crude and conversion of residual products into marketable ones.
