North Safa Field Development Project

North Safa is an active conventional oil field situated in shallow waters off the coast of Egypt. Specifically located in the Northeast Ramadan Concession block, the field operates at a water depth of 217 feet. Anticipated to reach peak production by 2026, North Safa’s oil extraction will persist until it reaches its economic limit in 2041, as per economic projections.

Tortue Development Project – Phase 1

An offshore project based on gas production in deep waters up to 2 km off the maritime border between Mauritania and Senegal. It is currently the deepest offshore project in Africa. Planned in phases, the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim LNG project will produce up to 10 million tonnes of LNG per year (Mtpa). A new drilling called Greater Tortue Ahmeyim-1 was carried out to a total depth of 4,884 meters in the eastern part of the Greater Tortue area, discovering 30 meters of net gas in a high-quality Albian reservoir in July 2019. This new discovery indicates the potential to expand the capacity of the LNG project beyond 10 Mtpa in the future.

AIN TSILA GAS FIELD DEVELOPMENT

Ain Tsila is a gas condensate field situated in the Illizi Basin, Algeria, located within the Isarene permit in Blocks 228 and 229a. The Ain Tsila field boasts reserves amounting to 2.1 trillion cubic feet of sales gas, alongside 67 million barrels of condensate and 108 million barrels of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Discovered in 2009 through the successful drilling of the Ain Tsila-1 well, this gas condensate field garnered significant recognition, ranking as the ninth-largest discovery globally for that year. Spanning an extensive area exceeding 1,000 square kilometers, Ain Tsila represents a substantial addition to the energy landscape.
