HOLBORN Europa Raffinerie, located in Hamburg, is a successful oil refinery that supplies Hamburg and northern Germany with fuels and heating oil. It is a refinery with a processing capacity of around 105,000 barrels of crude per day, and an average throughput of 4.5 million tonnes per annum.
The project involves upgrading the Reactor and Regenerator sections of the FCC Unit at Lukoil’s refinery in Bulgaria. This upgrade will boost the unit’s efficiency, enabling it to process more oil and produce higher-quality products. Additionally, it sets the stage for Lukoil’s future investments in the refinery, positioning the company for long-term success in the industry.
The project involves the construction of a new gas-fired Combined Cycle Gas Turbine — CCGT unit with a capacity of approximately 600–650 MW, developed to increase power generation capacity and improve the efficiency of the existing plant. Operated by JSC Thermal Power Plants and built with Mitsubishi Power technology, the new unit will contribute to the production of electricity and heat while reducing natural gas consumption.
