Luanda Refinery

The expansion and modernization initiative aims to significantly increase the refinery’s petrol production capacity, quadrupling it to 450 thousand tonnes per year. As a part of this project, the Combined Cycle has been revamped to utilize hydrogen generated by the new Platforming unit. Additionally, energy production has been optimized by recycling gas, resulting in a notable reduction in polluting emissions.

ALBA Project – PP and PEL plants

The project consists of two plants: one for producing linear polyethylene (PEL) and another for producing polypropylene (PP), each with an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons. Both plants utilize cutting-edge technologies that ensure top energy efficiency. These technologies are leading in the market and are the first of their kind to be implemented on the Iberian Peninsula.

Baltic Pipe Project – Compressor Station in Everdrup

The project aimed at the installation of piping and equipment of the Everdup Process Plant gas compression station, part of the Baltic Pipe project in Denmark. The Baltic Pipe is a strategic infrastructure project that aims to create a new gas supply corridor in the European market. Operational since October 2022, the Baltic Pipe is 900km long for a total cost of 1.88 billion dollars: it connects the Norwegian gas transport system with Denmark and Poland via an underwater gas pipeline in the North Sea.
