Cable Tray Covers

Spina Group designs and supplies cable tray covers to ensure complete protection of electrical and instrumentation cables from external agents such as dust, humidity, and mechanical impacts.

Our protective covers for cable trays and ladder trays are designed for indoor and outdoor environments, guaranteeing long-term reliability even in harsh industrial conditions.

Each outdoor cable tray with cover offers effective shielding against rain and UV exposure while maintaining proper cable ventilation. The covers are compatible with all perforated, ladder, and closed-bottom tray systems from Spina Group.

We provide ladder cable tray covers and fixing systems that allow quick installation and secure coupling without deformation. Covers are available in Hot-Dip Galvanised (HDG), stainless steel, and aluminium, matching the same materials and finishes as our cable tray product lines.

Custom sizes and thicknesses are available upon request to meet specific project requirements and environmental protection classes.

Our Successful Projects

Oil&Gas

Coral North Project

Coral North is the second project for the development of the considerable gas resources discovered by Eni in Area 4 of the Rovuma Basin. The Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) unit will have a capacity of around 3.5 MTPA (million tons for year). Managed by Eni and its partners, the project involves the deployment of a second Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facility to double the region’s LNG production, building on the success of the Coral South project.

Bioenergy

H2GS — Sweden — 2.1 MTPY HDRI and BRI Plant

H2 Green Steel was launched in 2021 in Boden, northern Sweden, is designed to produce 2.1 million tonnes per year of hot direct reduced iron (HDRI) and hot briquetted iron (HBI) using fossil-free hydrogen-based direct reduction technology. The project aims to decarbonize steel production by replacing fossil fuels with renewable hydrogen during the iron reduction process. Integrated with an electric arc furnace (EAF), the plant is expected to reduce CO₂ emissions from ironmaking by up to 95% compared with conventional blast furnace technology, supporting the production of near-zero-emission steel. The start of production is planned in 2026.

Mozambique LNG Development

The Mozambique LNG Development is a project on the Afungi Peninsula, in northern Mozambique. Developed by the Mozambique LNG joint venture, the project involves the development of offshore gas resources in Area 1 and the construction of an onshore facility for the treatment, liquefaction, storage and export of LNG. Its objective is to enhance the value of the major natural gas reserves in the Rovuma Basin, positioning Mozambique as a key LNG exporter while generating economic and employment benefits for the country.
