Spina has been involved in the Gas Capacity Increase Project (GCIP) in MLN (Menzel Lejmat Nord) Field as part of Phase-4 Development Project.
The MLN field is located in the north of Block 405a approximately 240 km South East of Hassi Messaoud, in Algeria in a remote desert area. It was discovered in 1996 and started its production in 2003.
The aim of the Gas Capacity Increase Project is the development and upgrading of the existing facility for gas treatment and oil production by installing the new 2 x 37.5 MMscfd compressors, a dehydration train and their related systems.
The challenge regarding this project is concerned with avoiding disturbances to the ongoing production, since MLN is an operational field.
With thirty years of experience in the Oil&Gas sector, Spina has contributed to the project as a specialist in the in-house production of custom cable trays to allow the laying of electrical cables throughout the plant.
