Spina has supplied over 22 km of electrical cables for the Skid Mounted chlorine and caustic soda plant for the production of sodium hypochlorite in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
Sodium hypochlorite is used for water purification, for its disinfectant properties or as an active component in the formulation of cleaning products. Sodium hypochlorite is produced by the direct reaction between chlorine and caustic soda resulting from the electrolysis process.
