SAIPEM 7000

The Saipem 7000 is a semi-submersible crane and pipelaying vessel operating within the Saipem fleet. The unit is designed to support complex offshore projects through heavy-lift operations, offshore structure installation, subsea works and J-lay pipelaying activities. Equipped with an advanced dynamic positioning system, two main cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 14,000 t in tandem lift, and pipelaying capability in water depths exceeding 2,000 m, the Saipem 7000 is deployed on conventional, deepwater and ultra-deepwater offshore projects worldwide.

Petrochemical

Project ONE

Project ONE is an INEOS project located within the Port of Antwerp, Belgium. The project involves the construction of a new ethane cracker with an annual production capacity of approximately 1.45 million tonnes of ethylene, a key feedstock for polymers and chemical products. Its aim is to strengthen the competitiveness of the European chemical industry through a highly energy-efficient facility with a lower environmental footprint than conventional crackers.

SALCOS DRP 1

The SALCOS DRP 1 is a direct reduction iron plant developed by Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH at the Salzgitter steelmaking site in Germany. The project involves the construction of a hydrogen-ready plant based on Energiron ZR technology, capable of producing over 2 million tonnes/year of DRI using natural gas and hydrogen in flexible proportions. Its objective is to progressively replace the traditional blast furnace–coal route with low-emission steel production through the DRP-EAF route, reducing CO₂ emissions and supporting the decarbonization of the steel industry.
