Fume & Air Treatment System

The ducted fume hoods as they are the most used fume hoods available on the market today. The available type are the constant air volume (CAV), the reduced air volume (RAV) and the variable air volume (VAV) chemical fume hoods.

Chemical fume hoods work by extracting air and noxious fumes away from the lab. and out of the fume hood where the air is filtered and returned to the outside environment by means of a duct system. User protection is enhanced by a movable sash that can be raised or lowered based on the needs of the user. All three types work in a very similar way, differentiated only by their air flow properties.

Furniture

Availability of an almost infinite series of combinations of structure & working surface materials, module dimensions & internal configuration, tops & shelves that allow laboratory’s operators to work safely and with everything at their fingertips. All our solutions are entirely designed by our team of specialists which is also able to follow all the assembling activities at site.

Container & Custom-Made Shelters

Thanks to our engineering skills and to the manufacturing capability of our partners worldwide, we are able to supply tailored laboratory shelters either based on commercial container sizes (e.g. 20ft / 40ft) or specifically designed with tailored dimensions in order to suit any particular application need in term of construction materials, design and certifications required for installation in the most severe conditions, like those on vessels or offshore platforms.

Petrochemical

PDH – Kallo Project

The upcoming propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant is set to be a major player, aiming for a production capacity of 750,000 metric tonnes per year, positioning it among the world’s largest and most efficient facilities. It is situated at an existing Borealis production site in Kallo, Belgium, chosen for its strategic logistical location and extensive experience in propylene production. Additionally, the selection aims to capitalize on synergies with the existing PDH unit. Utilizing Honeywell UOP’s Oleflex™ technology, known for its reliability and sustainability in propylene production, underscores the plant’s commitment to efficient and eco-friendly operations.

Petrobrazi Refinery

Petrobrazi, boasting an annual refining capacity of 4.5 million tons/year of crude oil, stands as one of Romania’s foremost refineries. It serves as a pivotal hub where crude oil undergoes processing, resulting in a diverse array of high-value petroleum products, ranging from gasoline and diesel to LPG and aviation fuel. Presently, Petrobrazi operates at exemplary environmental and performance standards, capable of refining the entire equity crude oil production of OMV Petrom. In a strategic move towards sustainability, the Romanian oil company plans to construct 55MW of green hydrogen projects at its Petrobrazi refinery, located 60km north of Bucharest. This initiative involves the installation of two electrolysers, one with a capacity of 35MW and the other with 20MW. The renewable hydrogen generated will be utilized in the production of bio-based sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and biodiesel, marking a significant step towards reducing carbon emissions in the aviation sector.

Luanda Refinery

The expansion and modernization initiative aims to significantly increase the refinery’s petrol production capacity, quadrupling it to 450 thousand tonnes per year. As a part of this project, the Combined Cycle has been revamped to utilize hydrogen generated by the new Platforming unit. Additionally, energy production has been optimized by recycling gas, resulting in a notable reduction in polluting emissions.
