The SAIPEM 3000 is a self-propelled mono-hull DP derrick crane vessel operating within the Saipem fleet. Equipped with a fully redundant DP Class 3 dynamic positioning system and a main crane with a lifting capacity of up to 2,177 t, the vessel is deployed on complex offshore projects worldwide.

New Hydrogen Production Unit – Porto Marghera

The project aims at implementing two hydrogen production lines for the Venice biorefinery in Porto Marghera. Its primary objective is to increase the availability of hydrogen at the biorefinery to fulfill the requirements of the EcofiningTM unit in terms of quality, quantity, and availability, all while optimizing energy efficiency. As part of a phased transition to producing decarbonized hydrogen, these units are designed to significantly reduce the emission of fossil CO2 into the atmosphere by utilizing biogenic charges recirculated by the EcofiningTM unit.
